Minimalism is OUT

It’s safe to say we’ve entered my favorite season of fashion to date. 

Clunky and exciting jewelry, interesting textures, and statement sunglasses are the intersection of my favorite styles.

We will be seeing a stray from the minimalistic era that has been grasped for the last few years. It is now time for the fun.  Combining unexpected colors is what the Spring Summer season is for. 

Personality seeps through the seams this year, as we have been dressing in neutrals and abiding by the “clean girl aesthetic” as if it were against the law to deviate. We now welcome cheetah, lace, stripes, clunky charm bracelets that hold… wait for it… substance (!!!), unique belts, and colorful sunnies. This is what keeps fashion alive. Walking clones create minimal interest in the cultural aspect of fashion. 

It’s time to stop wearing the same pieces as the 10 people next to us. Aesthetics come and go in the blink of an eye, leaving people confused about what’s next to come. Let’s drop it all. Make yourself the aesthetic. 

Find your favorite color shoe, pair it with your favorite pattern in a pair of pants, and add a cool tee– or hat, or belt, or pair of glasses. Be your own muse!! 

This is an exciting era. Leaning into conversation-starter-outfits could be the best thing to happen. Let’s break the patterns that no longer support our individuality. Let’s be maximalists together.
